Brief Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the team at Running Rabbits Day Nursery to undertake their Level 2 apprenticeship in Early Years. We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for providing quality childcare, to support the learning and development of children by delivering outstanding childcare to every child.

Qualifications Required

Prefer GCSE grade 4 Maths & English but will support to achieve functional skills if do not have these.
L2 childcare qualification -desirable for level 3 but can accept relevant experience

Personal Qualities

Passionate about working with children
Creative
Hard-working, caring, compassionate.
Wishing to develop a career in early years.

Skills Required

Good communicator and team worker
Preferred some experience in early years or working with children for example work experience
Good comprehension of written and verbal English.

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
