Brief Description
The Secret Garden Montessori, based in Nailsea Bristol are looking for an apprentice to join their highly skilled team. A fantastic opportunity to gain a level 3 early years apprenticeship whilst supporting the other nursery staff in providing high end education engaging children through fun and educational activities.
Qualifications Required
Grade C or above Maths and English,
L2 or some childcare experience

Skills Required
Willing to work towards level 3 and continue personal development
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to be flexible,

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Vacancy Detail
As an apprentice at The Secret Garden Montessori you will ensure the health and safety of the children in the nursery is the number one priority and contribute to the high standards of care and education.
As a level 3 Early Years Apprentice you will:
• Follow the room procedures as laid out by the nursery.
• Investigate resources for the continued development of the children attending the nursery
• Follow the nursery ground rules which apply to parents, children, and teachers.
• Help out in the kitchen – in the morning empty and put everything away or put the dishwasher on after breakfast as necessary.
• Cook lunch when allocated on the rota and Prepare tea
• Carry out tasks as instructed by your line manager in line with the nursery procedures and responsibilities
The hourly rate will depend on your age and experience.
