Early Years Apprentice

The Friendly Fish Day Nursery, part of the Bright Stars Nursery Group, believes every child deserves a calm, caring, safe, and stimulating environment in which to learn and grow. We are currently seeking a motivated Early Years Apprentice to join our team, working with children up to 5 years old. Your role will involve supporting the setup of engaging activities, attending to children’s care needs, and being part of a friendly, collaborative team. You’ll be responsible for a group of key children, planning and completing observations, ensuring their safety and well-being, and complying with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework. Creating a fun, safe, and enriching learning environment and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues are central to this role. Located just minutes from the seafront in Littlehampton, our nursery is housed in a spacious four-story converted home with excellent transport links and ample parking.
