Brief Description
Looking to develop your career in early years? Little Folk's has a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Early Years Apprentice to join the team. You will be supporting with children’s learning and development through play and activities, allocated key children to observe Uniform is provided. Salary up to £8.60 dependant on age and experience.
Qualifications Required
GCSE maths and English or equivalent at grade 3 preferred.

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated apprentice to complete a Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship, under the guidance of the established team.
Duties include;
• Caring for children's daily needs and following their routines.
• Providing and taking part in activities to develop children's learning.
• Enthusiasm and excitement for the children.
• Observing children's learning and development.
• Undertaking the role of the key person to help children feel valued
• Carrying out observations and use these effectively to understand the changing needs of their individual key children
• Planning for the interests in line with the early years foundation stage
• General daily cleaning of the nursery.
• Assisting with mealtimes.
• Engaging in parent workshops.
• Working as a team player but also use initiative.
• Being eager to learn from others and have the confidence to ask questions to progress further.
