Brief Description
A great opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the team at Running Rabbits Day Nursery to undertake their Level 3 apprenticeship in Early Years. We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for providing quality childcare, to support the learning and development of children by delivering outstanding childcare to every child.
Qualifications Required
Grade 4/C in English and Maths preferred.
To ideally hold a Level 2 qualification or equivalent
Experience of working in a childcare setting for 12 months is preferable, however, we are prepared to take on newly childcare qualified staff to further train and develop.

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Education/Training Qualifications (desirable but not essential)
Level 2 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or working towards level 2 or 3.
