Brief Description
Susana's Home from Home provides care for children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old, with wrap-around services extending up to 10 years old. They are looking for a fun dynamic apprentice to join the team, to support children's development and growth. Make a difference and work towards a level 2 apprenticeship, supported by Realise.
Qualifications Required
GCSE grades 4 and below in Maths and English or equivalent is desired but not essential.

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

As an apprentice at the setting your daily responsibilities will include -

• Support children with personal routines
• Support communication skills
• Follow all safeguarding policies
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
• Work under supervision and guidance
• Complete all qualification requirements
