Brief Description
Join a school that values every child as a level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice. You will support and supervise the care of children while working closely with a teacher to help manage the classroom and support pupils learning and wellbeing. You’ll help create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment throughout your apprenticeship.
Qualifications Required
• Achieved or working towards Level 1 in Maths/Numeracy and English/Literacy
• Willing to undertake first aid training

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes:
•Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Business Administrator L3 Apprenticeship Standard
•Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Rossmore School is a busy and thriving neighbourhood school, situated within the village of Little Sutton. Rossmore School offers a high standard of education within a caring environment, catering for children aged 3-11 years.
As part of this apprenticeship role, you will support and supervise pupils, including those with special educational needs, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and active engagement in learning. You will provide personal care and wellbeing support when required, always maintaining dignity and respect.
You will build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, helping to promote confidence, independence, and self-esteem. The role involves encouraging participation in a range of activities, supporting learning both individually and in groups, and assisting with the implementation of individual support plans. You will also support the safe use of specialist equipment where necessary.
In addition, you will promote inclusion within the learning environment, monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress, and contribute to their overall development. When trained, you will administer basic first aid and respond appropriately to wellbeing needs.
