Brief Description
Join a warm, welcoming, Ofsted-registered childminding setting where children are nurtured through creativity, outdoor play, and hands-on learning. You’ll be working alongside experienced practitioners delivering high-quality care and government-funded early years education for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds.
Qualifications Required
Applicant does not need any previous experience in early years.
It would be preferred they had GCSE English and maths but this can also be achieved as part of the
Personal Qualities
Playful and willing to drink a mud tea a few times during the day and someone who is not scared to touch a snail or roar like a dinosaur. Should have a caring quality about them.
Skills Required
Applicant does not need any previous experience in early years but should be willing and eager to learn.
Applicant needs to be responsible and a good time keeper
Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Job Duties:
Caring and supervising children
Creating a fun stimulating environment
Planning activities that will help them learn and grow
Observing children and planning next steps
Preparing snack
Before/After school care
Monday to Friday 8.30am-4pm (Extra hours available)
Other Information
No work in August or half terms. This setting also provides before and after school care.
